Servant Leadership
Servant leadership is an approach to leadership development. Servant-leadership emphasizes the leader's role as steward of the resources (human, financial and otherwise) provided by the organization.
It encourages leaders to serve others while staying focused on achieving results in line with the organization's values and integrity.
The objective is to enhance the growth of individuals in the organization and increase teamwork and personal involvement.
In the training the focus is on developing the trainees ‘Radar’ and on ‘Moving Spirit’ skills in order to learn to use these in an effective way and thus become a Servant Leader!
Radar:
- Listening; to be open for what is said or not said
- Empathy; acknowledge people in their specific and unique personality
- Fathom; having a sharp eye for details and being able to hold a helicopter view
- Foresee; focus on the long term effect of decisions
Moving Spirit:
- Vision; inspiring and practical future ideas
- Transfer; enrolling people to join
- Build Relationships; harmony with self and others
- Stewardship; harmony for the people, your organization and the society
