How does coaching work?

Intake

This free of charge session is all about getting to know each other and creating report. When all
goes well it can be used for outlining the scope, the context and if possible a first draft of a coaching goal.

SMART Goals

Setting SMART Goals is paramount for any successful coaching relation. A SMART goal is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Bound.

Assignments

Coaching is done in between sessions. As a coachee you will be asked to fulfill assignments and report to the coach on these assignments in between the sessions. These assignments can be of all sorts but always aimed at enhancing your capability to obtain your goal.

Sessions

Depending on the theme or situation the average coaching relation needs 6 to 8 sessions in order to be successful. We start off with a basic agreement of 4 sessions and then check in on each other in order to get agreement on what more sessions will be needed to obtain the goal set.
